ABOUT ROBERT COFFIN, Ph.D
A favourite among audiences and his peers, Dr. Coffin has an innate talent for turning sound science into accessible and digestible presentations. Over his 31 year career, Dr. Coffin has earned the title of “Potato Guru,” mainly for his work as a research biologist and extension specialist at Cavendish Farms in Prince Edward Island. Since his retirement in 2009, Dr. Coffin has continued his work in agriculture, running training workshops, conducting research, and working alongside his wife on their property, Privar Farm Inc., just outside of Trenton. We’re pleased to bring Robert’s enthusiastic speaking style to our community, and we hope you can join us for his talk!
